Vehicles in the MAN CLA Evolution series are designed for the tough working conditions of the markets in Africa, Asia and Middle East. The proven vehicle concept includes semitrailer tractors, tippers and mobile mixers with a two-, three- or four-axle chassis.
The robust and reliable MAN CLA Evolution boasts proven MAN technology at competitive prices and meets all the demands placed on a truck to be driven both on the road and on rough terrain. The truck is manufactured by MAN's subsidiary in India, where it is specially adapted to typical working conditions in developping countries. Its combination of reliable and easy-to-service technology means that you can always rely on the MAN CLA Evolution.
As a subsidiary of MAN Truck & Bus, MAN TRUCKS INDIA Pvt. Ltd produces and markets the MAN CLA Evolution. It is shipped to the export markets either fully built up (fbu), completely built up (cbu) or as a truck-in-the-box (TiB) assembly kit. MAN's established assembly partners then put it together at site under guidance of experienced MAN technicians.

The MAN CLA is specially adapted to geographical requirements and the type of work for which it will be used. Whether as a long-haul truck, semitrailer tractor, tipper or mobile mixer – the MAN CLA meets the varied demands of long-haul, building site and distribution traffic, and can even be used on surface mining sites or as a heavy-duty vehicle.

Convenient functions as ergonomic seats, a steering wheel adjustable in height and inclination, a clearly arranged dashboard, controls that are easy to reach and an excellent panoramic view contribute to a very comfortable work environment.
Excellent driving dynamics
Fuel efficiency, excellent running performance, high dependability, long life time and minimal maintenance effort characterize the engines of the MAN CLA. Torquey 6-cylinder Euro 2, Euro 3 and Euro 4 engines produce the power demanded for better transport performance. Smooth-running 6-speed and 9-speed gearboxes transmit the power to the driving axle. CLA Evolution are equipped with stable and endurable AP axles, designed for tough continuous use or, depending on the application, with low-friction hypoid axles intended for maximum payload in short- and l long-haul applications.
First-class qualitiy
MAN uses different manufacturing concepts. In case of the completely knocked down concept, the CLA is dismantled into parts and transported as a “truck in the box” to the destination, where it is then assembled. In case of the fully built up concept, the chassis is equipped with bodies of well-known body manufacturers and sold as a complete vehicle.
